EK Supreme LTX unboxing continued-
Here we have a top down view of the EK Supreme LTX water block, you can see here the way the blocks arranged, coolant goes in one end and passes over the fins to the exit port.
Ok now as you can see here this block’s top is made of acrylic and is to a very high quality, no imperfections anywhere as far as I can see and nice to know I can put on full size 19 mm compressions on there with no problems as the spacing is great. something I did have problems with the watercool heatkiller 3 waterblock I owned. This block takes standard G1/4 fittings.
Flip the block over and you are confronted with this. It is in place to protect the super reflective base to this block as seen here
This base has a perfect mirror shine, so much so that this was the only angle I could take the photo without the camera and my Chevy Chase being in view. I know this does nothing really to aid cooling performance but nice to see nonetheless.
